Matt O’Carroll (Administrative Director)
Diligent, Thoughtful, Thorough
Administrative Director|SoCal Santa Barbara, B.S. Environmental Science, University of Redlands; Masters of Environmental Science & Management, UC Santa Barbara
Born and raised in Culver City, California, Matthew spent three of his high school years at the ultra-competitive and demanding IMG Academy, in Bradenton, Florida. Eating, sleeping, and breathing sport, he learned from the game’s best about what it meant to be a world-class athlete, and importantly what it takes to be a word-class athlete. Matthew continued his career as a student-athlete at the collegiate level garnering several conference championships and NCAA appearances.
His passion at SoCal stems from wanting to share the values instilled in him from being a student-athlete, which helped him succeed in academics and in the professional world. Be selfless and open-minded, foster a mentality that always desires to learn, encourage and uplift those around you, always understand the importance of doing what is right, and most importantly, know that every dream is worth pursuing.
Matthew also plies his trade as a utility manager at UC Santa Barbara, and can be often found outdoors with his wife Megan, and son Jordan. Together, their family is grateful and excited to have the opportunity to share this resource with the community.
